INTRODUCING

KAREAH ORGANIC COLLECTION

Hello! Welcome to La Cerise!

HA, that isn’t the sound used to express surprise but you might just as well be shouting that after you have read about Hyaluronic Acid (HA). Hyaluronic acid serum is the commercially available form of this product made accessible to the public and often marketed as a skin care product or cosmetic agent.

Anti-aging products are not new. Almost every year different cosmetic companies and skin care specialists come up with various formulas supposedly loaded with lots of ingredients touted to vanish dry spots, wrinkles, and sagging skin; all too common in aging people. We humans have been fascinated with youth since time immemorial. Nobody wants to look old. No one looks forward to aging. Hence, the search for the fountain of youth had fascinated people for thousands of years and expeditions have been financed by different individuals in the hopes that they would remain young forever.

Today, we have discovered the key to a longer and more youthful look and glow. The fountain of youth with its magical waters may not necessarily be a literal fountain after all and water or particularly the ability of the skin to retain water is an element that plays a major role in giving you a youthful glow.

Hyaluronic acid serum bolsters our body’s ability to naturally produce Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is a protein that naturally occurs in our bodies and is used to maintain the balance of oil-water equilibrium of our dermal tissues. In other words it helps retain our skin’s moisture and provides it with nourishment while maintaining hydration.

Hyaluronic Acid is the main ingredient in all forms of products that contain hyaluronic serum. The topical use of Hyaluronic acid is also now approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. Many products that contain Hyaluronic acid serum like creams and other preparations also contain other botanical or herbal extracts that help the skin address key skin issues.

As we age our bodies slowly lose the ability to produce Hyaluronic Acid. Thus we slowly exhibit signs of aging like having wrinkles, fine lines around the eyes, and saggy skin.

It has been found that Hyaluronic Acid serum is one of the most powerful and hydrating serum available today and since it’s not really an “acid” but a salt with neutral pH that also naturally occurs in the body then it is safe to use on the skin and make it a daily staple in one’s skin care regimen.

Aging doesn’t only affect our external appearance though. If you are now suffering from joint pains like arthritis then hyaluronic acid is also ideal for you. It is now available in tablets and capsules and is being marketed as a health supplement. Since hyaluronic acid is a powerful lubricant, it helps people suffering from joint pains enormous relief from their stiffness and swollen joints. The good news is that it has also been observed that those who take hyaluronic acid supplements have noticed a change in their skin as well. But if you are taking hyaluronic acid primarily for cosmetic purposes then results may take longer. If you want fast results that you can visibly see and feel in a matter of minutes, a topical hyaluronic acid serum gel or cream is recommended. Now if you are already seeing improvements and want to prolong the results then you can also take the hyaluronic acid supplements to enhance the topical results and make it last longer.

Hyaluronic acid has made the waters of the fountain of youth now available and within easy reach.
